How your Sunday unfolds
Arrive and exhale
Check in, clink glasses and settle into your room. In cooler months, find a fireside corner and get cosy. When the sun is out, take your Prosecco to the terrace and catch the last golden hour of the weekend.
Dinner without the rush
Enjoy seasonal dishes with nowhere else you need to be. Take your time, linger over pudding, order another glass, and let Sunday evening stretch out properly.
Sleep well
Thick duvets, quiet hallways and the gentle hush of an old coaching inn settling in for the night.
Wake up well
Start Monday with coffee, juice and a proper breakfast. Choose a Full Yorkshire, smoked haddock with a poached egg, or softly scrambled eggs with oak-smoked salmon on toast.
Make a little more of Monday
We’re perfectly placed for a slow Monday-morning wander. Stroll around Pickering’s market town streets, head out across the North York Moors, or take a nostalgic ride on the heritage steam railway.
