Christmas Eve
Check in from 3pm and settle straight into the festivities with a traditional afternoon tea.
From 6pm, join us for mulled wine before a beautifully prepared four-course dinner in the restaurant. Later, enjoy a nightcap by the fire – or wrap up warm and head to midnight mass at St.Peter and St. Pauls, beautifully lit by candlelight.
Sleep comes easily here. Tomorrow is Christmas.
Christmas Day
Breakfast is served at leisure – Buck’s Fizz encouraged.
The morning is yours: a winter walk, a quiet coffee by the fire, or simply the pleasure of doing nothing at all.
Then, the highlight: a celebratory Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, finished with homemade Christmas pudding and brandy butter.
The King’s Speech will be shown at 3pm.
In the evening, a relaxed buffet supper is served — followed, perhaps, by one final glass beside the fire.
Boxing Day
A full Yorkshire breakfast from 8:30am sets you up for the day.
Explore the North Yorkshire coast, wander Whitby’s cobbled streets, or stay exactly where you are – warm, comfortable and unhurried.
In the evening, join us for a relaxed à la carte dinner to round off your stay beautifully.

One last hearty breakfast before you leave – rested, restored, and already thinking about next year.

Terms & Conditions:
To confirm your booking, we require a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of £100 per room at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due by 1st December 2026, or immediately for bookings made after this date. In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel, we’ll do our best to re-sell the package. If this isn’t possible, full charges will apply. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances or illness.
Please let us know about any dietary requirements at least seven days prior to arrival, so we can cater for you fully. Allergen information is available on request.
All prices include VAT. A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to your bill — this is shared equally among our team.
