Feast’s Brownies

A naughty little treat but the brownies in Feast always prove popular. They are super indulgent, gloriously gooey, delicious happiness. AND really simple to make! If you only every bake one thing let this be it!
Ingredients ~
Makes 16 large brownies
375g of butter
375g of dark chocolate
6 eggs
500g caster sugar
225g plain flour
Pinch of salt
8 creme eggs or mars bar - optional
~ Let's get cooking!
Pre heat the oven to 180 (gas mark 4)
Melt butter and chocolate on low heat
Whisk together eggs and sugar until light and fluffy (you need to do this for quite a while)
Slowly pour the melted chocolate and butter into eggs and sugar
Finally add flour and salt
Grease a tray, pour in the mixture and place in oven. Cook for 25 mins.
If you are using Creme Egg or Mars Bar, cut the creme eggs in half or the mars bar into 4 and the and place these on top of brownie. You will need to push them in slightly. Put back in the oven for a further 10 mins.
