At The White Swan Inn, we love sharing the joy of good food with everyone who steps through our doors. Our kitchen team are passionate about flavour-filled dishes using the best local ingredients from right here in Yorkshire. We are delighted to cater for any food preference or dietry requirement. If you don't see it just ask us! Nothing is too much trouble. In fact up until the storm of 1997 this used to be the latin motto on our sign - well almost.
From our marmalade to famously-creamy ice creams and daily breads to the ketchup or mayonnaise you dip your hand-cut chips into, everything is homemade in our kitchen if it can be - even the blackpudding in the photo above. Our menus change frequently with availability and to complement the seasons, meaning fresh tasty food all year round. This is more than your average pub grub but we steer clear of froths and fads! Proper food we like to think.
The White Swan Inn's restaurant has proudly held AA Rosette accreditation every year since 1997 and serves simple delicious dishes using fresh and truely local ingredients.
