Our Winter Guide to Hibernation and Restoration

Once the clocks go back and the leaves on the trees start to turn, our thoughts turn to the thick of winter and the creature comforts of indoors. The cold seems to encourage us to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of snuggling up inside; there is such a joy in hunkering down by the crackling wood fire with your favourite tipple in hand, listening to whatever the weather outside brings.

Escaping for a weekend away with us at any time of the year is lovely, but particularly during the winter months when you can really enjoy the cosy atmosphere, put your feet up and relax.

What could be better than cosy wood fires. Mugs of hot chocolate and bowls of homemade soup. A candlelit soak in a steaming hot deep bath and the gathering of friends for a feast. Board games in the Bothy with a tipple from the honesty bar. Long lazy breakfasts and of course our seriously warm and cosy beds to sink into for that kind of big deep sleep you only get in the Yorkshire countryside.

Our winter guide to hibernation and restoration:

Step 1: Book

Step 2: Arrive

Step 3: Completely relax and let us do all the hard work

We guarantee you will not want to leave …
