The Farndale Daffodils

Being located in such a beautiful area there is no shortage of days out right on our doorstep, but if there is one day out we absolutely recommend in Spring it is the Farndale Daffodil walk. When the wild flowers are in bloom (March and April) there are literally thousands of daffodils covering every field and riverbank as far as the eye can see. The stunning 1.5 mile stroll takes you from Low Mill (there is parking) along the enchanting River Dove to High Mill, here you will find the famous Daffy Caffy. Refuel here with tea and cake and if you want to make the walk a bit longer keep going a few hundred yards and you will reach the Feversham Arms, head past the pub, up the bank to Blakey Ridge or take one of the many paths that lead up and around the valley.

Low Mill is around 5 miles north of Hutton le Hole. YO62 7UY.

To celebrate the arrival of Spring and to encourage you out of a very cold winter hibernation we have a spring special offer just for you. Simply quote ‘DAFFODILS’ when making your booking.
