It all begins with the best and freshest local ingredients that we can find working though our local suppliers.  And at The White Swan Inn local means local. Our head chef Darren Clemmit personally guarantees that over 80% the ingredients are hand picked from the best Yorkshire has to offer.

Everything Homemade

Everything is homemade including most of the bread, the ice cream and our own chutneys and conserves … even the ketchup!  With a menu that change monthly you’ll get to choose from traditional Yorkshire favourites as well as great seasonal menu selections.

Relax And Just Please Yourself

There is plenty to choose from too, whether you fancy a light snack, great meal or a full-on banquet.  Our private dining room is available for parties of eight or more. 

You can do as you please at The White Swan Inn, the table is yours all night, just have two starters or even ask for something that is not on the menu.

Wonderful Atmosphere

Although our food is the star, our recently enlarged and redecorated restaurant creates a wonderful atmosphere for both casual and more formal special occasion dining.  With a roaring log fire and beautiful flagstone floors, the restaurant is cosy, warm and intimate in the winter and cool, restful and relaxing in the summer.
