Antiques
Yorkshire is an antique hunter's paradise. Pickering has individual dealers well worth visiting, as well as an Antiques Centre of over 30 dealers selling everything from furniture and paintings to china and porcelain, silver, clocks and paintings. The centre, covering 2,800 sq ft of antiques, is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm.
Similarly in Harrogate, a pleasant car drive of around 45 miles, there is another dedicated Antiques Centre. The Ginnel, just off Parliament Street has 50 specialist dealers under one roof. The centre is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5.30pm and nearby car parking is available at a Pay and Display carpark.
