Hotel of the Year Finalist
We are delighted to announce that we have been short-listed for the 2008 Yorkshire Tourist Board White Rose Awards under the category of Hotel of the Year (under 50 bedrooms).
After winning the same award in 2000 and runner-up in 2001 we were pleased to hear that we had been nominated for the awards again. Since the 2000 & 2001 awards the hotel has undergone many changes and developments....with nine New Contemporary Superior Double bedrooms, securing the exclusive supply of meat from the renowned butcher/farmer 'The Ginger Pig' and the conversion of a disused barn into The Club Room which is a multi-functional residents lounge but can also be used for conferences and meetings and most recently the completion of the refurbishment of the Traditional Inn bedrooms, so we are over the moon that all our hard work has not gone unnotice!
The judges are spending the next three months visiting all the properties that have been short-listed so fingers crossed and we will discover who the winners are at the awards ceremony at the end of September.
