When you eat at The White Swan Inn you'll experience great tasting, well presented but simple food - so good that you'll want to return again and again like so many of our food loving diners and guests. We have been AA Rosette accreditted since 1997 and delighted to announce our listing in the Good Food Guide 2011.

It all begins with the best and freshest local ingredients that we can find working though our local suppliers. And at The White Swan Inn local means local. Our head chef Darren Clemmit personally guarantees that over 80% the ingredients are hand picked from the best Yorkshire has to offer. Our meat comes from The Ginger Pig - a top London butcher who farms and prepares his meat 7 miles away before delivering it straight to us from the farm.
Everything Homemade
Everything is homemade including most of the bread, the ice cream and our own chutneys and conserves & even the ketchup! With a menu that change monthly you'll get to choose from traditional Yorkshire favourites as well as great seasonal menu selections.
Relax And Just Please Yourself
There is plenty to choose from too, whether you fancy a light snack, great meal or a full-on banquet. Our private dining rooms and club rooms are available for larger parties. Just call us to discuss any type of function, big or small.
You can do as you please at The White Swan Inn, the table is yours all night, just have two starters or even ask for something that is not on the menu.

Although our simple food is the star, our restaurant creates a wonderful atmosphere for both casual and more formal special occasion dining. With a roaring log fire and beautiful flagstone floors, the restaurant is cosy, warm and intimate in the winter and cool, restful and relaxing in the summer.
